About This Tour
Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwestern Uganda, is the country's largest and oldest conservation area, established in 1952. Encompassing approximately 3,893 square kilometers, the park is renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. The Nile River bisects the park, creating a dramatic centerpiece where it bursts through a narrow gorge and plunges 43 meters down, forming the spectacular Murchison Falls. This powerful cascade is one of the most iconic natural features in Uganda.
A four-day family trip to Murchison Falls offers an immersive experience into one of Uganda's most spectacular national parks. The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kampala, passing through lush landscapes and small villages, setting the stage for the adventure ahead.
