Expand allCollapse allDay 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, get ready for an engaging drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. Your safari guide will provide an insightful overview during the drive. You will stop for lunch along the way, taking in the scenic beauty of Uganda. Upon arrival, check in at your reserved accommodation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
The day begins with an early morning breakfast, followed by a forest walk to track chimpanzees. The trek, lasting about four hours, will also offer sightings of other primates such as baboons, colobus monkeys, forest hogs, as well as beautiful birds and butterflies. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then go to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for birding. It’s a home to over 138 bird species. Return to your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Following breakfast, you will head to Bwindi National Park for an extraordinary gorilla trekking experience. Lunch will be provided along the way. Upon arrival at Bwindi, check in at your reserved lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
After a hearty breakfast, with packed lunch and drinking water in hand, proceed to the briefing point for your gorilla tracking adventure. Ensure you are well-prepared for the trek. Following the tracking activity, return to your lodge to freshen up, if time allows, you can go on a cultural walk to Batwa villages to immerse in their ancient lifestyles and traditional dances. Return to the lodge for dinner and an over night.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
After breakfast, depart from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with a lunch stop en route and a brief pause at the equator monument. You will then be transferred either to your lodge or the airport for your flight back home.
