Welcome to Rwanda! Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or pick-up from your hotel in Kigali, your driver/guide will warmly welcome you to the Land of a Thousand Hills. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you journey along Rwanda’s hilly roads to Akagera National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). In the afternoon, embark on a boat trip on Lake Ihema, followed by a night game drive.
Day 2: Full Game Drive
After an early breakfast, begin a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park. Discover the park’s savannah and its incredible wildlife, including elephants, hippos, buffaloes, lions, and more.
Day 3: Return to Kigali and City Tour
Start your day with a drive back to Kigali, where you'll embark on a city tour that includes a visit to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial. This experience provides insights into the 1994 Rwandan genocide through writings and audio presentations. After a relaxed city tour, you'll be transferred to Kigali International Airport or your hotel for your onward journey.
